Art has always been in Laura’s life. As a child, she would create sketches of her favorite stuffed animals and paint scenes from nature. What began as a fun activity soon emerged into a passionate lifestyle.

Although Laura took some basic art classes in high school and college, she considers herself to be mostly self-taught. Her painting style arises from her intuition.

Laura’s faith is the inspiration behind her art. One of her pieces, In His Presence, was selected to be displayed in the 2024 National Eucharistic Congress Art Exhibit, an honor she received alongside other finalists.

The mental health crisis is close to Laura’s heart, as she lost a brother to suicide in 2014. She donates 5% of all proceeds to the building of a Catholic Healing and Retreat Center in Sedona, AZ. Currently, Laura resides in sunny Arizona where she works as a music coordinator. In her spare time, she enjoys being with friends, taking long walks in nature, going to the beach when she is visiting family in San Diego, and writing. For Laura, art has become a leisurely activity of restoration and solace.

May you be blessed!
